8. Connect P1.

9. Open the cable lock and insert the cable from the P1 connector.

10. Close the cable lock.

11. Connect P2 and P3.

Note: Connectors P4 and P5 on the power supply are not connected.

12. Power-on the library and make sure that it fully initializes.

13. Verify that the drives in each drive slot power-on and initialize.

14. Run diagnostic tests (described in the L20 Tape Library User’s Guide, part 95961).

15. Return the defective FRU according to your country’s warranty agreement.
