Removal

1. Follow the procedures in “Repair Setup” on page 1-1.

2. Make sure that you have followed the safety and ESD precautions in the “Personal Safety” on

page xvii.

CAUTION:

Electrical hazard: To avoid shock, do not open the power supply. Some components

may store voltage even though the power cable is not connected.

3. Unlock and pull open the drawer.

4. Disconnect connectors P2 (J2/3) and P3 (J2/3). (These connectors supply power to the drives.)

Note: Connectors P4 and P5 on the power supply are not connected.
