Stealth-3 Tab
The Stealth-3 tab (not available for Vixel 8100) allows you to select the desired port
address setting and advanced settings for LIP (Loop Initialization Primitive)
propagation and LIRP/LILP support for ports when the switch is running under
Stealth-3 Mode (or when the switch is running under Fabric (Public/Private) Mode
and one or more ports are using private addresses). The advanced settings are
downloaded to the switch when Apply ALL or Apply is clicked; note that the
advanced settings can be applied separately (without applying other configuration
settings) through the Apply Advanced Settings button. This tab also displays port
statistics for addresses and world-wide names.
The port colors indicate whether the port has obtained sufficient addresses: green
indicates sufficient addresses while yellow indicates insufficient addresses (gray
indicates that no GBIC is inserted in the port). If all ports have sufficient addresses, no
configuration is needed. If more configuration is needed, choose the appropriate port
address setting for each port according to their descriptions below.
