Options Menu
The Options menu has the options shown below.

Show Port gauges allows you to show or hide the port gauges under each port to
display traffic rates. For more information on traffic rates, see The Historical Traffic
Monitor Window on page 7.
Activate backup fan (Vixel 8100 only) turns on the backup fan.
Reset Switch allows you to execute a soft reset of the switch.
Reset Switch with Factory Defaults (not available for Vixel 8100) allows you to apply
the factory default (as-shipped) switch configuration settings and execute a soft reset
of the switch.
 NOTE:
Selecting this option will not impact the existing switch IP Address settings.
Clear Events deletes all event messages that are stored on the switch (note that the
switch continues to generate event messages).
