Stealth-3 Mode - A switch mode that assigns addresses to ports based on the chosen
port setting.
Topology - The logical and/or physical arrangement of stations on a network. Fibre
Channel topologies include point-to-point, Arbitrated Loop, and switched fabric.
Transceiver - A device that converts one form of signaling to another for both
transmission and reception. SFPs and GBICs are transceivers.
WWN Zoning - A feature of some switches by which devices are segregated by their
World-wide Names (or some variant, such as World Wide N_Port_Names). WWN
zoning configuration for Vixel Switches is currently available through the switchs
Web Manager or CLI, both of which can be launched through Softek SANView.
