Loop Tab Options

Control Description
Loop State
(double-click
the desired
zone to
display its
loop state)
Health status of the loop. Possible values follow.
• Active (SOFs) - Data is going around the loop. Loop
is up.
• Down - No Comma characters are going around the
loop.
• Initializing - LIP(s) have been detected on the loop.
• OpenInit - Initialization frames are being
transmitted and received in order to identify a loop
master and assign AL_PA values.
• Up - A loop master has been identified and AL_PA
values have been assigned.
Hub Loop
Stats
• Loop Number - (Vixel 2100 Managed Hubs only)
Loop (zone) to which the displayed information
applies.
• Loop Up Time - Time accrued since last loop
initialization
• Loop Up Count - Number of times loop has
completed initialization
• Failed Init Count - Number of times loop did not
complete initialization
