Sweep Tab
The Sweep tab in the Diagnostics dialog box analyzes, assesses, and troubleshoots
loop operation. Through the Sweep tab’s capabilities, you can detect and display the
presence of the ordered sets to immediately pinpoint a problem port.
Sweep Tab
The Sweep process continually monitors installed ports in sequential order, displaying
real-time status through color. (Green, yellow, or red indicates status while gray
indicates that the port has no installed GBICs.) The detected ordered sets are indicated
through the checkboxes under Port Detection.
 NOTE:
Invalid Sweep data may be acquired from a port if a GBIC is inserted or removed from
the hub during that Sweep cycle. Correct data is displayed during the next Sweep
cycle.
You can define the amount of time spent on each port and between ports.
