Overview

This section describes the functions and selections of the Hub window used for Vixel

Hubs managed by Softek SANView. Each dialog box and window is referred to by the

name that appears in its title bar.

 NOTE:

The data sent by a loop-attached node travels from the first port to the last port in

sequential order.

The Hub window displays the hub identifier, management agent information (if

present), ports, and GBIC types. Ports are color-coded to show their health status. The

health status of the loop, hub, and GBICs is indicated by the LEDs shown below.

Hub Window

To open the Hub window, double-click the desired hub icon in the main window, or,

if the hub is within a stack, double-click the desired stack icon in the main window and

then double-click the desired hub graphic.

Double-click a port graphic

to view its Port window.
