º AT-14: A storage enclosure containing 14 PATA disk drives. AT-14 storage enclosures
contain a single RAID controller with two RAID host ports. The RAID controller host ports
connect to the Fibre Channel switches.
º AT-42: A storage enclosure containing up to 42 PATA disk drives. AT-42 storage
enclosures contain a single RAID controller with two RAID host ports. The RAID controller
host ports connect to the Fibre Channel switches.
• Fibre Channel switches
BlueArc supports Fibre Channel switches which connect multiple servers and storage
subsystems. The qualified Fibre Channel switches are:
• Brocade SilkWorm 3250/3850
• Brocade SilkWorm 4100
• Vixel 9000 series: Vixel 9100 and Vixel 9200
• Vixel 355
Note: For additional data protection, it is recommended to use an external UPS to power the
Titan Storage System.
