Mandatory Regulations
The sections that follow outline the mandatory regulations governing the installation and operation of
the system. Adhere to these instructions to ensure that regulatory compliance requirements are met.
International Standards
The equipment described in this manual complies with the requirements of the following agencies and
standards:
CSA 60950-00/UL 60950; EN 60950
FCC Part 15 Class A; EN 55022 Class A; EN 55024
Federal Communications Commission (FCC)
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital device,
pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection
against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. This
equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if it is not installed and used in
accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications.
Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely to cause harmful interference, in which case
the users will be required to correct the interference at their own expense.
Properly shielded and grounded cables and connectors must be used in order to meet FCC emission
limits. Neither the provider nor the manufacturer is responsible for any radio or television interference
caused by using non-recommended cables and connectors, or by unauthorized changes or
modifications to this equipment.
Unauthorized changes or modifications could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
1. The device may not cause harmful interference.
2. The device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired
operation.

The manufacturer cannot accept responsibility for any failure to satisfy the protection requirements
resulting from a non-recommended modification of the product.
This product has been tested and found to comply with the limits for Class A Information Technology
Equipment according to European Standard EN 55022. The limits for Class A equipment were derived
for commercial and industrial environments to provide reasonable protection against interference with
licensed communication equipment.
