4.2 Pairing the receiver with dataloggers, mobile phones and other external
devices.
The RTK-Pro receiver comes with factory-installed Bluetooth. Because of this, the RTK-Pro receiver cannot be tted with the
Transmitter Link option. These two options are mutually exclusive.
Bluetooth pairing with external devices.
1. Switch on the external device.
2. Switch on the vLoc3 RTK-Pro and enter the User setup menu by a long press on the “i” button.
3. Use the “+” and “-” keys to scroll to and select the “Bluetooth Pairing” option.
4. Press the Enter key.
5. Press the Enter key to start a “Bluetooth search” for external devices.
6. A list of available devices will be shown.
7. Scroll to the desired external device, press the Enter key.
8. Double press the “i” button to return to the main screen.
After a few seconds, the Bluetooth icon should turn blue, indicating the device has paired successfully.
The unit will remember the pairing even after switching o󰀨. However, the unit can only remember one unit at a time, so if the unit
is paired with another device, the settings will be replaced.
GPS (Global Positioning System)/GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System)
Typically the RTK-Pro utilizes its internal GNSS antenna, but the RTK-Pro can also utilize location data from an external GPS/
GNSS device. For this, the RTK-Pro needs to be paired with an external device (see the previous section on pairing external
devices).
Once paired with an external device, the RTK-Pro will await valid GPS data from the external device. The GPS icon will turn
green when a valid GPS signal is detected. It can take from a few seconds to a few minutes, depending on the device and
whether it is doing a “cold” or “hot” start. Also, note that the bubble level will not be displayed in the Info screen.

4.3 Transferring Data from the vLoc3 Receiver to a Computer
One method of transferring data is to use the vLoc3 Series Congurator Tool, "MyLocator3". This free desktop
program can be downloaded from the Vivax-Metrotech website.
MyLocator3
Another method to access the locator data is by using the VMMap App, which will store all the locator's data
in the web portal. See our website under "Apps" to learn more.
