VI. CLIENT PROGRAM

1. INSTALLING THE DVR WEB CLIENT

There are two methods of installing the DVR web client. The first method involves

connecting to the DVR over the internet. Once connected, the DVR automatically

searches for the presence of the web client viewer. If no client has been installed, the

DVR will redirect to a server to download and install the plug-in. The second method

involves installing from the program CD that was supplied with the DVR. Installing the

DVR web client also installs the DVR local player.

Before installing the DVR web client, please verify that the computer onto which the

program is being installed meets the minimum requirements:

1. CPU: Intel Pentium III 800Mhz or equivalent

2. RAM: 128 MB

3. Video Card: 32MB

4. Operating System: Microsoft Windows 98SE/ME/2000/XP

5. Internet Explorer version 6.0

6. 10/100 Base-T Ethernet Port
