The recording group preconfigured under
record setup may be selected in conjunction
with specific days of the week and the time
frame. Use the numeric buttons 1 through 4
to select the appropriate group, 5 for none,
and 6 to delete the schedule line. Refer to
example B at the end of this section for the
schedule deletion procedure.
Example A
The sample schedule below shows a variety of settings that may be used in a typical
application of scheduled recording.
The DVR records every Monday from
12am to 8 am using record group 1.
The DVR records every Tuesday from
9am to 4pm using record group 2.
The DVR records everyday from 8am to
9pm using group 3.
The DVR records every Saturday and
Sunday (weekend) from 7am on
Saturday to 8am on Sunday using group
4.
Note that the schedule’s start and end time does not automatically move to the next day,
As shown in example . If the schedule recording needs to continue through the night
onto the next day, the end time must be set to 23:59 hour (11:59pm) on the first day to
mark the end of the day. Then, set the start time to 00:00 hour (12am) and the end time
anytime before 23:59 hour on the next day to complete overnight schedule recording.
The schedule obeys and prioritizes recording according to the order of the items listed.
For example, the sample above records everyday from 8am until 9pm as shown in
example , but records only from 12am until 8am on Mondays (example ) and from
9am until 4pm on Tuesdays (example ) (Illustration will not be effective as it is
entered after All days recording. It was entered to demonstrate overnight recording
procedure).
