4. ADVANCED RECORDING
1. ALARM RECORDING
Please make sure that the alarm feature has been activated under the record setup
menu. Also, make sure that the appropriate post recording duration and the alarm
circuit type have been selected from the event setup menu.
Press the record button and the record icon will
appear as shown on the left. The record LED will
start blinking as it is set to the standby mode until
an alarm is triggered. The DVR is not recording
as long as the record LED is blinking.
When an alarm is triggered, the record LED will
turn solid. The alarm alert and the alarm
recording icons will appear on the screen. The
DVR will record for the duration of the post
recording duration.
If the alarm buzzer is set to on, then the alarm
buzzer will sound for the duration of the Record
Duration. Please refer to page 60 for
configuring the Record Duration.
If an e-mail address has been entered in the network setup menu, then an e-mail will be
sent out alerting an alarm recording.
