There are only two levels of passwords: user and administrator.
5. Why do the images take time to load on the Web Client Viewer?
Depending on the upload speed of the internet connection on the DVR end, it may
create a little delay to start transmitting the video
6. Can you play audio over the internet?
Audio stream over the internet is not supported either for the Web Client Viewer and
CMS.
7. The DVR Web Client does not download and install automatically. What’s
wrong?
Check the privileges on the computer. Administrator level or equivalent level of
access is necessary to install programs. Moreover, verify the Internet Explorer
security setting involving Active X is set to default.
8. Can the saved video clips be played on Windows Media Player?
Saved video clips cannot be played on Windows Media Player. It requires the either
the Local Player or the CMS to review the data.
9. Does the client software work on other operating systems such as Linux and OS
X?
At the present time, the both the Web Client Viewer/Local Player and the CMS are
only available on PC format.
Miscellaneous
1. Can I attach a mouse, keyboard or joystick via the USB port to control the DVR?
The only device that controls the DVR besides the front panel is the included remote
controller. The USB port is used to connect external backup devices.
2. Would the picture quality be better if I used Nuvico cameras and monitors?
Nuvico cameras, monitors and DVRs have been tuned to produces the best video
quality when used in conjunction with each other.
