Adding a Wi-Fi Connection

Charging the Device
Use only the provided cable and charger to charge the
VistaTablet or VistaPhone. Keep the device plugged into
the charger. You can use the device while it is charging.
• VistaTablet uses a micro-USB charging cable. Use
caution when inserting the cable. This cable can only
be inserted one way. If the cable does not insert into
the charging port, rotate the cable and insert again.
• VistaPhone uses a USB-C charging cable. This cable
can be inserted in either direction.
Turning Device On and Off
The VistaTablet or VistaPhone should always be ON and
near you when you wear a VitalPatch. The screen will go
black (but device will remain ON) after a period of
inactivity.
• TurnON:Press and hold the PowerKey until the
device vibrates and the screen lights up.
• CheckifON
: Tap the HomeKey (VistaTablet) or
PowerKey (VistaPhone). The screen will display.
• TurnOFF: Press and hold the PowerKey until the
Options menu displays, and then select PowerO.
Unlocking the Device
If the VistaTablet or VistaPhone device is asleep (black
screen), unlock and start the VistaPoint application:
1. Press the HomeKey on the VistaTablet or tap the
PowerKey on the VistaPhone. The “lock screen” will
be displayed
2. Swipe nger across the screen.
3. Enter the PIN code provided by your care team. The
default PIN code is 1234.
Adding a Wi-Fi Connection
Your VistaTablet or VistaPhone requires a cellular or Wi-Fi
connection to operate. See

onpage23 for more information.
To add a Wi-Fi connection:
1. Tap the Menu button and then tap the Applications
menu item. Select the Wi-FiCenter application.
2. If Wi-Fi is OFF, tap the TurnONWi-Fi button to turn
Wi-Fi ON.
3. Tap the name of the network you want to connect to.
Enter the Wi-Fi password (if asked) and tap
CONNECT.
4. Tap Back to close the Wi-Fi Center application.
