ID of the Nonin 3150 when it appears. It should
match the ID in
Step1above.
g. VistaPoint displays “Please wait connecting...”
If you see a message asking you to conrm the
device pairing, tap Conrm.
Pairing is now complete.
4. Start Continuous Measurement
(After Pairing)
See gure to the right.
a. Apply the Model 3150 wrist unit to the wrist. Attach
the ngertip sensor to the nger.
b. Tap TakeSpO2 in the Oxygen Saturation tile
(or TakeaMeasurement on VistaPhone and then
TakeSpO2).
c. Tap UseBluetooth.
d. Tap PairNew.
e. Tap Model3150 as the model.
f. “Scanning for Devices” will display. Tap the Bluetooth
ID of the Nonin 3150 when it appears. It should
match the ID in
Step2onpreviouspage.
g. VistaPoint displays “Please wait connecting…” and
then displays the current oxygen saturation value on
the dashboard. Updated readings will continue to be
transmitted to the dashboard as long as the Nonin
3150 is operational and the sensor is applied to the
nger.
h. If the monitoring session is complete, tap Disconnect
in the Oxygen Saturation tile. This will remove the
pairing between VistaPoint and the Nonin 3150.
Error Messages During Measurement
The following error messages may be displayed in
VistaPoint when taking a measurement. See gure to the
right.
• If the dashboard displays “Finger Removed”, check
nger is inserted correctly, or tap Disconnect to stop
monitoring.
• If the dashboard displays “Low Quality Reading”,
check nger is inserted correctly.
• If pairing, place in pairing mode
• If measuring, apply to wrist and ngertip
