ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION GUIDE
WE RECOMMEND INSTALLATION OF THIS LIGHTING FIXTURE BE DONE BY A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN.
WARNING *** SWITCH OFF THE MAIN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY FROM THE MAIN FUSE BOX/CIRCUIT
BREAKER BEFORE INSTALLATION.
INSPECT ITEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL. IF THERE IS ANY DAMAGE OR
OBVIOUS DEFECT, DO NOT INSTALL.
ITEM MAY NOT BE RETURNED ONCE IT HAS BEEN INSTALLED.
1. Remove back plate (A) from fixture base (D) by unscrewing base screw (C).
2. Gently pull the wires from the celling and allow the wires to hang. Thread the wire through the center hole in back
plate (A).
3. Connect the hot wires from the fixture (BLACK) to the hot junction box wire from the outlet box (usually BLACK).
Fasten them together with a plastic wire connector provided and wrap connection with electrical tape.
4. Repeat this procedure for the WHITE neutral wires from the light fixture to the wire from the outlet box (usually
WHITE).
5. Connect the ground wire from the light fixture (bare copper) to the ground wire from the outlet box.
6. Attach the back plate (A) to the outlet box and tighten with mounting screw (B).
7. Replace the fixture base (D) to the back plate (A) and tighten it with base screws (C).
8. Insert light bulb into socket.
9. Thread top ring attached on glass shade (F) into bottom of shade (E).
10. TO CHANGE LIGHT BULB: Remove glass shade (F) by turning it in counter-clockwise direction. Insert light bulb into
socket. Replace glass shade (F) back until tight.
