ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION GUIDE
WE RECOMMEND INSTALLATION OF THIS LIGHTING FIXTURE BE DONE BY A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN.
WARNING *** SWITCH OFF THE MAIN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY FROM THE MAIN FUSE BOX/CIRCUIT
BREAKER BEFORE INSTALLATION.
INSPECT ITEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL. IF THERE IS ANY DAMAGE OR
OBVIOUS DEFECT, DO NOT INSTALL.
ITEM MAY NOT BE RETURNED ONCE IT HAS BEEN INSTALLED.
1. Remove mounting plate (A) from fixture base (C) by unscrewing decorative nuts (E).
2. Attach mounting plate (A) to the ceiling outlet box and secure with mounting screws (B).
3. Connect the neutral (white) fixture wire coming from the fixture base to the neutral (usually white) outlet wire. Fasten
both wires together with a plastic wire connector and tightly wrap the wire connector with electrical tape.
4. Repeat this procedure with the hot (black) wires. Always make sure that no wire strands are left outside
the connector. DO NOT REVERSE THE HOT AND NEUTRAL CONNECTIONS OR SAFETY WILL BE
COMPROMISED
5. Connect the ground wire from back plate assembly (bare copper) to the ground wire from the outlet box.
IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THE OUTLET BOX IN YOUR HOME BE PROPERLY GROUNDED.
6. Attach fixture base (C) to affixed mounting plate (A), letting threaded rods on mounting plate (A) pass through both
holes on the fixture base (C) and secure with decorative nuts (E).
7. Insert light bulbs into sockets.
8. Attached glass shade (F) to fixture base (C), letting rod (D) pass through the center hole of glass shade (F) and
secure with cap nut (G). DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN, OTHERWISE THE GLASS SHADE WILL BE BROKEN.
