ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION GUIDE
WE RECOMMEND INSTALLATION OF THIS LIGHTING FIXTURE BE DONE BY A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN.
WARNING *** SWITCH OFF THE MAIN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY FROM THE MAIN FUSE BOX/CIRCUIT
BREAKER BEFORE INSTALLATION.
INSPECT ITEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL. IF THERE IS ANY DAMAGE OR
OBVIOUS DEFECT, DO NOT INSTALL.
ITEM MAY NOT BE RETURNED ONCE IT HAS BEEN INSTALLED.
1. Attach glass (G) to fixture frame (F) by bending the glass tab to secure the glass panel.
2. Remove mounting plate (C) from fixture base (J) by unscrewing thumb screws (I). Do not discard thumb screws.
3. Affix mounting plate (C) onto ceiling outlet box (A) and secure with mounting screws (E).
4. While holding the fixture near to the ceiling, connect the hot wires (Black) from the fixture to the hot wire (usually
black) from ceiling outlet box (A). Fasten them together with a plastic wire connector (B) provided and wrap
connection with electrical tape.
5. Repeat this procedure for the neutral wires (white) from the light fixture to the neutral wire (usually white) from ceiling
outlet box (A).
6. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU DO NOT REVERSE THE HOT AND NEUTRAL CONMNECTION.
7. Connect ground wire (copper) from the light fixture to ground wire (usually green or copper) from ceiling outlet box
(A). Fasten them together using wire connector. PROPER GROUNDING IS IMPERATIVE. If no ground wire exists
from the outlet box (A) attach the ground wire from the fixture to the green grounding screw on the mounting plate.
8. Carefully lift fixture into place, allowing the threaded rods (D) pass through the fixture base while neatly tucking the
wires in between.
9. Attach fixture base (J) to affixed mounting plate(C), and secure with thumb screws (I).
10. Insert light bulbs (not included) into sockets. To avoid the risk of fire, do not exceed the recommended wattage.
11. Close the panel door and fix it with metal bolt (H).
12. Restore power to outlet box and test fixture.
