Installation Sheet

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
WE RECOMMEND INSTALLATION OF THIS LIGHTING FIXTURE BE DONE BY A
LICENSED ELECTRICIAN.
WARNING *** SWITCH OFF THE MAIN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY FROM THE MAIN
FUSE BOX/CIRCUIT BREAKER BEFORE INSTALLATION.
INSPECT ITEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL. IF THERE IS
ANY DAMAGE OR OBVIOUS DEFECT, DO NOT INSTALL.
ITEM MAY NOT BE RETURNED ONCE IT HAS BEEN INSTALLED.
1. Remove the mounting plate(B) from the back plate(D).
2. Install plastic anchors(A) provided into wall.
3. Attach mounting plate(B) to wall with screws(C) provided.
4. Attach the ground wire from the fixture to the ground wire from the building
using the provided wire nut. If your house has no bare wire (ground) attach this
wire to the green grounding screw inside the outlet box.
IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THIS FIXTURE BE GROUNDED.
5. Attach the common wire (ribbed, no words) from the fixture to the white wire
from the building using the provided wire nut.
6. Attach the hot wire (smooth, with words) from the fixture to the black wire from
the building with the provided wire nut.
IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU NOT MIX THESE WIRES.
7. Secure back plate(D) to mounting plate(B) with screws(E) provided.
8. Thread cord cover(F)into the hole on the bottom of back plate(D).
9. Install lamp bulb (G) (not included) into socket.
10. Remove the protective plug cover(H) and plug into outlet box.
11. Restore power and to turn on switch on line to enjoy your new lamp.
12. ADJUSTMENT INSTRUCTIONS.
1. Loosen the adjustment keys on the swivel joints, to adjust arm.
2. Adjust arm segments and shade to suit.
3. Tighten the adjustable keys.
