ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
WE RECOMMEND INSTALLATION OF THIS LIGHTING FIXTURE BE DONE BY A
LICENSED ELECTRICIAN.
WARNING *** SWITCH OFF THE MAIN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY FROM THE MAIN
FUSE BOX/CIRCUIT BREAKER BEFORE INSTALLATION.
INSPECT ITEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL. IF THERE IS
ANY DAMAGE OR OBVIOUS DEFECT, DO NOT INSTALL.
ITEM MAY NOT BE RETURNED ONCE IT HAS BEEN INSTALLED.
1. Open the door (G) by loosening the locking pins (H).
2. To install glass panel (L) provided to front frame (G), make sure metal tabs
(J) are flipped against the opening of the frame. Place glass panel (L) to front
frame and secure glass panel (L) by bending back metal tabs (J) towards the
glass panel. Install rest of the six glass panels (K) into side frames and secure
with the metal tabs on the frame.
3. Attach the top hook on the candelabra assembly (I) to the loop (M).
4. Remove mounting plate (B) from lantern base (E) by removing base screws (D)
and set aside.
5. Place mounting plate (B) on the ceiling outlet box, use mounting plate (B) as a
template, mark center points for four mounting holes on the mounting plate (B).
Remove mounting plate (B).
6. Drill small holes on the marked location, the holes should be big enough to
accommodate with plastic anchors (A). Push plastic anchors (A) into the holes.
7. Connect the safety steel wire from the fixture to the safety cable from ceiling
with lock nut. (As shown in illustration A)
8. Connect the hot wire from the fixture (with words on surface) to the hot
junction box wire from the outlet box (usually BLACK). Fasten them together
with a plastic wire connector provided and wrap connection with electrical tape.
9. Repeat this procedure for the neutral wire from the light fixture (without words
on surface) to the wire from the outlet box (usually WHITE).
10. Connect the ground wire from the light fixture (bare copper) to the ground wire
from the outlet box.
