ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Sarnen Small Flush Mount
1. Carefully remove all parts from the box.
2. Install the mounting strap (B) with nipple to the junction box and secure with the mounting
screws (C) provided.
3. Wrap the fixture ground wire to the green ground screw on the mounting strap (B) and
secure,then connect to the house ground wire with the wire nut (A).
IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THIS FIXTURE BE GROUNDED.
4. Connect the fixture white wire to the house neutral wire with the wire nut (A).
5. Connect the fixture black wire to the house hot wire with the wire nut (A).
DO NOT REVERSE THE HOT AND NEUTRAL CONNECTIONS OR SAFETY WILL
BE COMPROMISED.
6. Remove the socket (G) from the fixture metal cap (D) by loosening knurled nuts (H).
7. Put the wire and nipple from mounting strap (B) through the fixture metal cap (D).
8. Lock tight the metal cap (D) to the ceiling with the washer (F) and the hex nut (E) by
the wrench (J) provided.
9. Connect the fixture ground wire to the socket ground wire with the wire nut (A).
10. Connect the fixture white wire to the socket white wire with the wire nut (A).
11. Connect the fixture black wire to the socket black wire with the wire nut (A).
12. Install the socket (G) to the fixture metal cap (D) and secure with knurled nuts (H).
13. Install the bulb(not included) into the socket (G).
14. Install the glass shade (I) into the fixture metal cap (D) by clockwise rotation until secured.
15. Installation is complete, turn on power at fuse or circuit breaker.
***Clean with a dry, soft cloth only. Use no harsh abrasives or chemical agents.
WE RECOMMEND INSTALLATION OF THIS LIGHTING FIXTURE BE DONE BY A
LICENSED ELECTRICIAN.
WARNING***SWITCH OFF THE MAIN ELECTRICAL SUPPLY FROM THE MAIN
FUSE BOX/CIRCUIT BREAKER BEFORE INSTALLATION.
INSPECT ITEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO INSTALL. IF THERE IS ANY
DAMAGE OR OBVIOUS DEFECT. DO NOT INSTALL.
ITEM MAY NOT BE RETURNED ONCE IT HAS BEEN INSTALLED.
NOTE: CAREFULLY UNPACK EACH PIECE IN TOP LAYER OF PACKING PRIOR TO
REMOVING. RETAIN ALL PACKING MATERIAL UNTIL INSPECTION AND
INSTALLATION ARE FINAL.
