MOUNTING EARS
Included Mounting hardware allows
attachment to a wall, projector pole, or
rack. It has 1U / half-rack-width chassis.
BACKLIT DIALS
The backlit dials are clear and easy
to use. Useful LED indicators show
the volume levels even in low light
environments.
FLEXIBLE INPUTS AND OUTPUT
4 stereo inputs (via phono connectors)
accept input from a variety of sources
and the AV-1600 features a line-level
pre-output, which feeds the sound on
to a subwoofer for bass reinforcement,
or a tape recorder recording, or even
to a larger amplier if you need more
power! Comes with input and output
cables meaning it is ready for use out
ofthebox.
PHANTOM POWER
The microphone input is via a
professional XLR connector, which
means it is balanced to eliminate
electro-magnetic noise induced on
long cables, and outputs “Phantom
Power” – a voltage which is required by
lectern and other sensitive condenser
microphones. This is unique to the
AV-1600 in its class.
CEILING AMPLIFIER WITH GROUND LIFT
A unique feature is the ability to use it
in tandem with a data projector in the
ceiling, meaning you can intuitively use
the projector remote control to select
inputs and control volume. Simply mount
the amplier up in the ceiling above
the projector (making it much harder to
steal), and run all of the audio through
the projector into the AV-1600. The
AV-1600 has a power output socket so
that the projector and amp can share
the same power outlet, and it also has
a ground-lift switch to eliminate noise
sometimes induced on audio signals by
data projectors. Easy!
Harnessing the latest digital amplier and touch-control
technology, the new AV-1600 is compact, exible, easy to use and
uses no power at idle.
