4. Right-click the Local Area Connections icon and click Properties to open the Local Area
Connection Properties dialog (Figure 2-1).

5. Select the General tab.
6. Enable the checkbox next to Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
7. Highlight Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties to open the Internet
Protocol (TCP/IP) Properties dialog.
