[FX SEND]: line output (output impedance: 680 û, signal level: 9 Vpp), it only transmits the drawbars'
signal (and Vibrato or Chorus if enabled) so as to process the signal with external effects. The signal
from this output is not controlled by the potentiometer [VOLUME] (see point 1 of par. 3.2).
-
[FX RETURN]: line input (input impedance: 32,4 Kû, maximum input signal level: 11,2 Vpp), it receives
the signal from an external effect processor connected to the [FX SEND] port (se previous point). This
signal is then modified by the equalizer and the internal effects Reverb, Drive and Rotary of the

, then sent to the outputs [LEFT], [RIGHT], [ROTARY SPEAKER] and [PHONES] (also on
the front).
- [ANALOG IN]: line input for signal from an external audio device. This signal is then modified by the
equalizer and the internal effects Reverb, Drive and Rotary of the

, then sent to
the outputs [LEFT], [RIGHT], [ROTARY SPEAKER] and [PHONES] (also on the front).
- [INPUT GAIN] trimmer: adjust the gain of the signal from the input connector [ANALOG IN] within a
range from -ñ (input impedance: 7, , û T J H O B M M F W F M 7 to + 16dB (input impedance: 17,5 Kû, signal
level 400 mVpp).
3. [PEDALS CONTROLS] connectors.
-
[EXP]: connect here the expression pedal’s cable, for continuous volume control during the
performance. Use with:
Expression pedal of the optional Viscount pedalboard (EXPRESSION cable).
Optional Viscount expression pedal.
External expression pedal, such as Yamaha FC7, Behringer FCV100, Fatar VP25, etc ...
-
[ROTARY]: connect here the cable from the pedal you wish to use to control the speed of the internal
Rotary effect. It can also be used to control the speed of an external rotating speaker connected to the
[ROTARY SPEAKER] port (see point 1 of this paragraph).Use with:
Control lever on the expression pedal of the optional Viscount pedalboard (ROTARY cable).
Optional Viscount switch pedal.
Switch pedal of the normally open type (N.O.)
The operation of the pedal plugged to this connector is determined by the position of the control lever on
the instrument (see point 21 of par. 3.2), as described in the following table:

WARNINGS ON THE USE OF SPEAKERS
The [ROTARY SPEAKER] on Legend / Legend Live should only be connected to a rotating speaker equipped
with a cable with the following pinout:
1: Audio +
4: Audio GND
5 - 6: common of speed switch
7: Fast
8: Slow
If the connector has a diferent setup, an adapter should be used.
Always perform the connection while both instrument and speakers are switched off. Then first switch on the
instrument and later the speakers.
NB
When plugging a jack to the [FX RETURN] connector, the internal sound generation is disconnected from the [LEFT],
[RIGHT], [ROTARY SPEAKER] and [PHONES] (also on the front) outputs; the signal sent to these outputs is that of
[FX RETURN].
