Intended Use
Virgilant eTracker device is a medication reminder device intended for
single-patient use to assist physicians and patients in recording and
monitoring the occurrences of inhaler use. The eTracker is not intended
for use as a dose counter, nor is it intended to measure the quantity of
medication remaining in an inhaler. This device uses electronic tracking
to determine the time and frequency of the inhaler used. The eTracker
is designed to link with a smart phone and detect when the inhaler is
used, tracking in real-time and creating a picture of the overall
medication use for a patient with asthma. This smart device provides an
environment for the users with asthma to receive personalized
information to help self-manage their asthma.
Product Description
The eTracker tracks your inhaler usage automatically. When you
actuate your medication, you trigger the sensor in the eTracker device.
