Dear
VIPER
I'm very
impressed with
your
publication.
I soon
Sopg to
publish
my
Vfp-fBOe
mini-assembler- in the VIPER.
The
assembler
is
designed. to work in
a standard
VIP
using
the
hexpad.
This
means that
hexadecimal
op
cgdes
must still be
used.. Ihis
plus
the
lack
of
a4y
macro capability
means I
havenrt
written
a
true assembler. My mini-assembler
wi1I,
,-however,
allow the
writing
of

assembler
will-support
the
use
-of
labels
and/or
absolute
addressing. AII
branches and subroutine
caIls to
labels
will be
resolved. In
addition, code can
be assembled
to
run
any'place
in RAM
using
a
simplified
ORG directive.
Keep
up
the
good
work.
