The password required for dialing-in user.
• Idle timeout
Timeout in seconds if the connection is idle.
• Local IP address
Arctic’s IP address in PPP connection.
• Peer’s IP address
The IP address given to dialing-in user in PPP connection.
• Maximum MTU value
The maximum size of PPP packet in bytes.
14.4. Configuring the SSH-VPN settings of the Arctic
This step is an alternative to the chapter 14.5: Configuring the L2TP settings of the Arctic. See page
10, chapter 6: Choosing the type of the VPN for information on which VPN to use.
Note: Enable only one type of VPN in the same Arctic.
If the SSH-VPN is used, it has to be enabled and configured. Find below a description of the menu
items in the Arctic’s “SSH-VPN settings” menu.
