13. Configuring the M2M Gateway
Once the cables are connected and the installation computer that is used for configuring the M2M
GW is set to belong to the same network as M2M GW, the M2M GW can be configured. Follow the
next steps for configuring the M2M GW.
13.1. Regarding logging in to the M2M GW
The default URL for accessing the M2M GW is https://10.10.10.10:10000
Note that the M2M GW's Webmin GUI is using the HTTPS (SSL protected HTTP) and the
certificate in use is "self signed", which means that it is not among the trusted certificates in web
browsers. Therefore, once logged in for the first time, the user must click the “add an exception” to
add a security policy exception (Firefox) or click "Continue to this website" (Internet Explorer).
13.2. Logging in using the Firefox web browser
This document describes methods of logging in to the M2M GW's graphical user interface with
either Firefox or Internet Explorer. Users of other browsers should consult the documentation of the
respective browser regarding the self-signed SSL security certificates.
The users of Internet Explorer may wish to skip this section and go to the chapter 13.3 Logging in
using the Internet Explorer web browser.
1. Open the Firefox web browser and enter the URL https://10.10.10.10:10000
