VinylDoc Product Warranty Statement
VinylDoc products are guaranteed to be defect free and fully compatible
with rigid PVC vinyl commodities.
Before attempting to repair any damages or faults, homeowners and
contractors are encouraged to contact their window manufacturer to verify if any
potential warranty exists. In most cases, damaged windows that do not display a
manufacturer’s defect may not be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.
When a trained and approved VinylDoc technician repairs a window
frame, the PVC window frame repair is guaranteed by VinylDoc under normal
post-installation conditions and use for the lifetime of the window manufacturer’s
warranty. The repair is not guaranteed to be visually undetectable. In such cases,
many window manufacturers—at the manufacturer’s discretion—have agreed to
maintain their defect warranty but do not guarantee the area of repair. For a
complete warranty on a repaired window frame, the area of repair must be
guaranteed by the company that finished and performed the repair.
VinylDoc‘s obligation and warranty apply only to its PVC window frame
repairs and products. VinylDoc accepts no responsibility for repairs performed by
non-VinylDoc employees or pre-existing damage other than to the window frame
or conditions beyond the frame such as: out-of-square openings; foundation
settling; structural warping; undetected cracks or damage; use of incompatible
repair materials; or failure of weather-resistive barrier and/or caulking.
