Remote Connectivity Options
DVMS has a PCMCIA card slot (Herein referred as PC Card slot) which allows us to utilized compatible PC
peripherals commonly used in Laptop PCs. This allows us to provide low cost, high performance connectivity.
Gyyr currently supports specific Modems and LAN cards, as listed in the DVMS Connectivity Options table.
You can order the LAN or modem card from Gyyr or through their sales channels. The Gyyr model numbers are
listed in the above table.
Live Viewing options
With DVMS 400, you can view a single camera or quad view live. Selection of different live views does not affect
the recording. With DVMS 100 recording one camera, you can monitor that single camera live. Refer to the DVMS
100 section for options with a Multiplexer.
Video Motion Detection
Each DVMS has a Video Motion Detection channel per camera input. This allows DVMS to record in many different
ways, based on detected motion activity. There are several parameters that can control sensitivity and position.
Each video channel can be broken up into hundreds of motion zones, each programmed to one of 4 sets of
criteria.
Motion Record Options
You can set the DVMS to record only when there’s activity. This is extremely useful to reduce storage
requirements, as you only record when there’s motion. Additionally, the motion events can be marked during
recording, to allow easy retrieval. Motion events can be programmed to record at any desired interval (capture
rate) and compression rate. Motion event recording can be combined with normal Time Lapse recording, as well.
These options are handy when you want to record low resolution time lapse images, but want high-speed, high-
resolution motion images to be captured.
Detection Options
You can set up to four templates of detection. Any of the motion zones can be set to any of the four types. Each
template can be set to a different sensitivity. You can also set each to a specific trigger size, from one to 9 cells.
If you program template 4 to have a trigger size of 2 horizontal cells, then an object must occupy two adjacent
horizontal cells to trigger detection. Additionally, you can dictate which direction to detect in, like detect only left
to right movement. All of these option elements can be combined.
