Safety Equipment & Warning Devices

Pedestrian safety should always be a paramount concern. Safety edges

and photo-eyes are the most common types of safety equipment but oth-

er devices such as warning buzzers and lights should also be consid-

ered. Industry standards such as UL 325 and ASTM F 2200 as well as lo-

cal and state codes and laws prescribe certain safety devices and others

should be used based on job conditions. We strongly recommend learn-

ing these standards and following them. Following appropriate safety

standards not only reduces the risk of injuries but also helps to limit you
