Crash Gates
In today’s increasingly dangerous world “crash gates” have become
more common. Crash gates come in various models and are
designed to different crash ratings. Ratings generally consist of
stopping a certain weight vehicle at a certain speed over a certain
distance. Some units have been crash tested and certified while
others have been engineered to certain ratings while not having a

712, 714, AND CR –25 CABLE REINFORCED CRASH BEAMS
B & B ARMR’S Crash Beam Barriers are engineered and designed to pro-
tect at-risk access point and prevent forced vehicle entry or exit for facili-
ties requiring medium to high security. These models have a minimum
roadway opening of 12 feet (3.7 m) and a maximum up to 25 feet (7.62 m).
The units are capable of immobilizing up to 25 feet (7.62 m). The unites are
capable of immobilizing a 10,000 lb. 4,535.9 kg) vehicle traveling 18 mph
(29.0 km/h), and carry engineered rating of 5,000 lbs (2, 268 kg) at 44 mph
(70.8 km/h). Basic components of the crash beam barriers include the
standard vertical to horizontal arm with an energy absorption cable assem-
bly, hinge post, receiver/latch post, cable reinforced crash beam and auto-
matic controls.
B & B 850
850 PORTABLE BARRIER
B & B ARMR’ Model 850 Portable Barrier is designed to be rapidly
deployed in an emergency situation and fully operational within 15
minutes. With a crash rating of K4, the portable barrier presents a
formidable deterrent capable of stopping a 15, 000 pound (6803.9
kg) vehicle traveling at 30 mph (48.3 km/h). The barrier may be
towed into position using a truck, and once in place, the barrier is
lowered into position with built in jacks.
B-30 BOLLARD SYSTEM
B&B ARMR’s Model B-30 Bollard systems are expertly and aestheti-
cally designed to act as vehicular deterrent for perimeter security
and traffic control purposes. Engineered for simple installation and
fast service, the Model B-30 is constructed of high strength steel cy-
lindrical units guided by an offset flange assembly with precision ma-
chined anti-friction surfaces. Custom bollard finishes and decorative
sleeve options are available. The B-30 bollard system provides a high
level of perimeter security while enhancing the aesthetics of a facili-
ty.
