Rebooting or powering off a computer
The Intel Server Manager administrator can remotely power off or reboot computers on the
network. The following events are part of this process.
Description of event Example from log file or notification
monitor
Intel Server Manager sends notification to all
management stations that a reboot or
shutdown was requested.
A system reboot or system shutdown
command was issued by the Intel Server
Manager user "administrator."
Each computer that you are attempting to
reboot or shut down displays a message box
indicating that it will be rebooted or shut down
in 30 seconds. Users can cancel the reboot or
shutdown command during that time if they
are using the computer. If the user cancels,
administrators receive notification.
A system reboot or system shutdown
command issued by the Intel Server Manager
user "administrator" was cancelled by the user

If the computer being rebooted or shut down
is running Windows
