Overview

Thank you for your purchase of RTDVR-8100-4CIF series Digital Video Recorder (DVR). To get the most out of your DVR,

please read through the Installation’s Manual and this User’s Manual thoroughly.

The RTDVR-8100-4CIF series DVR, shown in Figure 1, is a new generation product developed by SENTIOLUX. Built on

an embedded platform and combining the latest in advanced H.264 video encoding and decoding technologies, the

RTDVR-8100-4CIF contains the perfect combination of rock-solid reliability and high performance.

• Compression:

• Support PAL/NTSC video input.

• Adopt H.264 video compression standard.

• Video encoding parameters of each channel can be set separately, including resolution, frame rate, bit rate, image

quality.

• Each channel supports normal continuous and event compression parameters.

• Support both composite stream and video only stream. Audio and video are strictly simultaneous.

• Monitoring:

• High definition VGA display supports 1024*768 resolution.

• Support 1/4/9/16 screen live view, and channel sequence is adjustable.

• Support live view group switch, manual switch and automatic cycle, the interval of automatic cycle can be adjusted.

• Support digital zoom on live view.

• Support shielding the assigned live view channel.

• Multiple alarm types selectable: motion detection, video tampering, video exception and video loss alarm.

• Support privacy mask.

• Support various PTZ protocols, PTZ preset, patrol and pattern.

• Support zoom in by clicking the mouse and trace function by dragging mouse.

• HDD Management:

• Support up to 8 SATA HDD. Each HDD can support up to 2TB capacity.
