proven reliable voice wiring infrastructure into an IP path ideal for
IP Telephony. Avoid the risk, cost and complexity associated with
the old way of layering real-time voice on a distributed topology
built for near- time data delivery. The PoLREs lets customers
control migration from totally separate to fully converged LANs.
The PoLRE switches are designed specically to handle any
organization’s existing or future real-time voice requirements,
delivering a robust platform ensuring voice quality of service
today and into the future. In addition to IP phones, the PoLRE
switch can support other IEEE 802.3af compliant devices such as IP
cameras, speakers or wireless access points.
PoLRE switches are among the lowest power consuming data
switches in the industry, with features including power/load
sharing, hot swappable power supply, and AC/DC options. PoLRE
switches come standard with PowerWise technology, providing
the exibility to use either AC or DC power sources with the same
switches. PoLRE provides you with the most robust PoE platform in
the industry: a highly reliable local area switch network powered
by PowerWise with multiple sources of redundancy.
There’s no complicated navigation system to learn. Just click the
System, Ethernet, VLAN and Admin navigation buttons at the
top of the screen to move through the Simple Network Manager
pages. Information is grouped logically, making switch details and
controls easy to nd. For example, when working with a service,
you can see the status of all other services at the same time; when
viewing details for a VLAN, you can also see information for all
VLANs on the network.

Congurable per-port, ActivReach is capable of delivering
up to 15.4W of PoE, as well as 10/100 Mbps of full duplex link
connectivity utilizing four-pair, two-pair or even a single-pair of
CAT3 or higher cabling at distances of up to 1,600 feet.
With ActivReach, businesses can benet from VoIP and UC
technologies utilizing a building’s existing voice-grade wiring. In
addition, with speeds up to 100 Mbps, ActivReach also provides a
cost-eective means for desktop connectivity where CAT5 cabling
does not already exist.

The NetVanta® 1235P/1535P family of switches with
ActivReach® technology deliver voice, data, video and
Power over Ethernet (PoE) over all grades of cabling—
CAT5, CAT3 or even legacy copper. The NetVanta 1235P
and 1535P switches with ActivReach enable fast, secure
and cost-eective (pay as your growth) Local Area
Network (LAN) deployments.
Through their innovative design, the NetVanta
1235P and 1535P support standard IEEE Ethernet or
ActivReach for voice, data and PoE connectivity in a
variety of cabling environments. In addition, these
full-featured business-class switches were designed
with Voice over IP (VoIP) applications in mind with the
ability to supply Legacy PoE, 802.3af (PoE), or PoE over
ActivReach to power IP phones, as well as Gigabit-to-
the-desktop deployments (NetVanta 1535P).
