Ethernet media converters
ComNet introduces a variable rate
electrical-to-optical media converter
with PoE (power over Ethernet) that
allows users to select between 10/100
Mbps and 1000Mbps rate transmission
and provides up to 30 watts of PoE+
for powered devices. ComNet designed
this hardened media converter for
applications where there is a potential
upgrade to Gigabit transmission or as method to reduce the
number of individual media converter models being used. This
multiple rate feature can eliminate future hardware upgrade
costs.
