Dual-channel True Seamless Switchers
The MatrixPRO 8x8 DVI router switches any of the eight DVI inputs to any
or all of the outputs. Each channel can be programmed with unique EDID
information based on the system requirements. This information is also
available to external sources, even when the unit is turned off. Each input
is re-clocked as it passes through the router, maintaining the DVI signal
strength and each output channel can also display an internally generated
test pattern. The MatrixPRO 8x8 DVI router accepts inputs up to 2048 x
1080 (including all HD) resolutions.
The unit is controlled from the built-in front panel, the MatrixPRO remote panels, the MatrixPRO software and the
Encore and ScreenPRO-II controllers. The front panel includes an easy to read VFD display and a knob for simple
navigation of themenus.

Both DCS solutions are dual-channel scaling switchers designed to provide
true seamless switching between different input sources and formats,

DCS-100, the DCS-200 adds an independent and highly flexible preview output

Barco’s FSN series is a high-resolution 3G ready switcher that com-
bines advanced multi-format production and presentation switching
in one highly integrated unit. The FSN integrates input conversion,
multi-viewing, digital video effects and output conversion into a single
6 RU chassis.
By seamlessly integrating multiple video and computer graphics formats
on a common platform, the FSN series provides a streamlined package that’s
modular, easy to operate, and easy on your budget. The FSN allows control of
two full mixer-effect (M/E) busses from its control panel as well as the program
mixer. Additional auxiliary output cards can be installed for up to 16 AUX outputs, 8 ad-
ditional mixers, or multi-format ouputs and blending.

ScreenPRO-II uses four image layers (unscaled background, up to two
scaled PiPs or keys, and an unscaled downstream key) to produce
sophisticated effects, including live transitioning backgrounds, transitioning
PiP windows, wipes, dissolves and keys. An internal 8x2 analog video
router provides universal analog sources to each scaler channel. Barco’s
ScreenPRO-II features a low video processing delay of three input fields
maximum.
With the EOC, the ScreenPRO-II can use the DVI background channels as inputs to the scaler channels, adds HD-SDI
and interlaced output for recording, and can have storage for 100 logo stills.

ImagePRO-II is an advanced high performance all-in-one video scaler,
scan converter, switcher and transcoder converting any input signal
format to any output format. ImagePRO-II supports Universal Analog, DVI

Loop-through outputs are provided for the Analog, DVI and SDI input and genlock signals. With features like HDCP

The Encore Presentation Switcher is the most advanced video processing and presentation control system on the
market today. The system provides source selection, automatic source acquisition and configuration, advanced
windowing features, seamless switching, video effects and integrated control for professional video presentations. En-
core’s modular, scalable architecture allows the system to support a wide variety of show configurations. The system
can efficiently support from 1-32 screens with any combination of independent display or
seamless wide-screen display elements.
The basic Encore configuration supports six independent picture-in-picture (PiP) or
key layers, or three transitioning PiP images. It fully supports seamless transi-
tion effects, Z-order control, window borders, drop shadows and a variety of
keying effects. Each input board on the Encore provides two independent
scaler channels with universal inputs that handle both analog and digital
video sources.
The unit features 1:1 pixel sampling, motion adaptive de-interlacing for both standard and high defini-
tion sources, 3:2 and 2:2 pull down detection, low video delay, aspect ratio correction, real-time window manipula-
tion. The Encore is an excellent solution for large blended widescreen applications.
