The DLA-RS66U is JVC Professional’s top-of-the-line D-ILA home
theater projector. Upgraded for 2013, it displays master-quality 3D
as well as 2D material upconverted to 4K resolution, made possible
by JVC Professional’s new 4K e-Shift2 technology. Built from hand
selected perfectly matched components and a new wire grid polarizer,
the DLA-RS66U achieves a native contrast ratio of 130,000:1. Overall

D-ILA is a JVC-developed technology that delivers
unmatched performance, with natural color reproduction,
an image so smooth that it rivals film, and contrast that
does justice to the most demanding program material.
All JVC projectors are based on D-ILA technology.
D-ILA, or Direct-Drive Image Light Amplication, is liquid crystal
technology, but it’s very different from the liquid crystal display (LCD)
technology found in many products today. There is very little space
between D-ILA pixels, which results in an exceptionally smooth, “lm-
like” image.
JVC Professional Reference Series projectors are designed for custom integration and are carried by an
exclusive network of custom audio/video installers who can design and build a home theater tailored to
