The modified temperature remains enabled until the next changeover within a program or until the next program change.

Remedy Change the batteries (see next chapter). The Vitotrol 100 has a power reserve of 3 min. If you replace the batteries within this time, all set details will be retained. After the power reserve has been exceeded, carry out a reset (see next chapter). Note If the batteries are not changed, the display switches off.

Appendix Cleaning The equipment can be cleaned with a commercially available domestic cleaning agent (non-scouring). Energy saving tips Further recommendations: ■ Correct ventilation/airing. Briefly open windows fully and at the same time close the thermostatic radiator valves. ■ Close roller shutters (if installed) at dusk. ■ Set thermostatic valves correctly. 30 ■ Never cover radiators or thermostatic valves. ■ Controlled DHW consumption: A shower generally uses less energy than a full bath.
