Connection of combustion air devices (continued)
Connection of the combustion air
damper
See damper manual for correct
installation.
Ensure that the combustion air damper
is suitable for this application.
1. Disconnect power to control and
burner.
2. Make connection as shown in the
diagram.
A Combustion Air Device Adaptor in
connection enclosure
B Relay 120 VAC coil - field supplied
C Combustion air damper
D End switch rated for 120 VAC
Wired to “normally open” terminal
on device adaptor board
E Power supply, 120 VAC
¨ Safety instruction!
Provide disconnect means and
overcurrent protection as required by
local codes.
Note:
Spring return air dampers do not
require field supplied relay.
