Viega ProPress ttings provide secure, reliable installations for many kinds
of industrial applications, ranging from process gases to vacuum systems.
No matter the project, Viega ProPress reduces shutdowns because it can
be installed wet or dry, signicantly decreasing downtime.
Viega ProPressG ttings with the HNBR sealing element are available from
sizes 1/2" to 2" with a wide assortment of unions, and adapters. ProPress
ttings with the EPDM sealing element range from sizes 1/2" to 2" and
2-1/2" to 4" in Viega ProPress XL or Viega ProPress XL-C. For projects
requiring high temperatures, FKM sealing elements are available from
sizes 1/2" to 4".

EPDM (Ethylene-Propylenedienemonomer) sealing element
EPDM is used in applications like potable water, hydronic heating,
re sprinkler and compressed air. Identied on Viega ProPress
ttings with a green dot, it has an operating temperature from 0ºF
to 250ºF (-18ºC to 120ºC).
HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) sealing element
HNBR is well suited for applications that include propane, diesel and
fuel oil, as well as other various gases. Identied on Viega ProPressG
ttings by a yellow dot, its operating temperature is from -40ºF to
180ºF (-40ºC to 82ºC).
FKM (Fluoroelastomer) sealing element
FKM is recommended for applications such as solar, district heating,
low pressure steam and compressed air systems. FKM has an
operating temperature from 0ºF to 284ºF (-18ºC to 140ºC) with the
capacity to withstand heat spikes up to 356 ºF (180 ºC).
