4000 SERIES BIOACCESS READERS AND CONTROL UNITS
The latest introduction to the 4000 series range of modules (BioAccess) employs the latest technology
in thermal finger print readers.
BioAccess readers are equipped with a finger print reader (thermal sensor), with dry contact relay outputs and
serial communication ports which are compatible to a number of industry standards. Current modules are available
for 950 users (Art.4821) or (Art.4823) for 3000 users. The modules will operate in stand alone mode or networked.
Programming can be carried out using the six on board buttons and associated LEDS on the rear of the modules
or from a PC. Modules are available in mirror finish stainless steel (standard) or anodized aluminium (“/A”).
Main features:
■ Art.4821 950 users (up to 3 finger prints for each user)
each finger can be allocated one of three relays.
■ Art.4823 3000 users (up to 3 finger prints for each user)
a maximum of 1000 users can be allocated to any one of
the three relays.
■ 3 relays with C (common), NC (normally closed) and NO
(normally open) contacts all will operate up to 24v AC/DC
at 3 amps.
■ 3 inputs for relay activation (active low).
■ Programming using the on board buttons on the rear
of the modules.
■ Audible and visual signalling during programming
(6 LEDs on the rear of the module and 2 status LEDs
on the front of the module).
■ Real time clock with backup battery (Art.4823 only).
■ Relay activation time programmable from 1 to 99
seconds for each of the three relays.
■ RS232, RS485 and WIEGAN serial interfaces.
■ PC software for finger print logging and
data base management.
■ Data base logging for up to 12,800 readings (4823 only).
