4000 SERIES STAND ALONE PROXIMITY READERS AND CONTROL UNITS
A recent introduction to the ever expanding range of the 4000 Series of modules are the Art.4850 (100 user)
and Art.4850P (1000 user) Stand alone proximity readers and control units.
These units only require an external power supply and lock release. The units can be incorporated into any
of the 4000 audio and video modular range of door entry, or can be stand alone.
Art.4850 - Main Features:
1 Door.
100 users (fobs or cards).
Add and delete (fobs or cards).
Programming using on-board push buttons and Leds’.
Push to exit input.
Lock / Relay time from 1 to 99 seconds or latching.
Dry contact relay output.
13v – 24v AC or DC power supply.
Tri state LED and reassurance tones for user feedback.
Part latch mode to allow the first 90 locations to activate
the relay for a programmed time and the last 10
locations to latch / toggle the relay.
Art.4850P - Main Features:
64 Doors
1000 users (fobs or cards).
Add and delete (fobs or cards).
PC software for programming and data base facilities.
Push to exit input.
Lock / Relay time from 1 to 99 seconds or latching.
RS485 BUS to allow the connection of up to 64 readers.
Dry contact relay output C (common), NO (normally open)
and NC (normally closed).
13v – 24v AC or Dc power supply.
Tri state LED and reassurance tones for user feedback.
Part latch mode to allow the first 900 locations to activate
the relay for the programmed time and the last 100
locations to latch / toggle the relay.
Using the PC software package the installer / user is able to create a database for up to 64 readers with 1000 users and 16 reader
groups. This can be used to create different access levels to individual users. Add, delete and modify are standard features for each
user and the software also includes a date logging facility which will record all fob / card activity while the PC is connected.
