The central body contains the motors for horizontal and vertical movements. The EXPT series P&T use single phase, synchronous AC motors; the motors transmit horizontal and vertical motion via a wheel-pinion and link chain, with rotation in both directions plus immediate stop and reverse. Inside the movement mechanism there is a worm screw / crown wheel system to ensure complete absence of mechanical play during operation.

5 Preparing the product for use 5.1 Safety precautions before use The following procedures should be carried out with the power supply disconnected, unless indicated otherwise. An appropriate protection device should be installed in the electrical equipment upstream of the device. gg Never exceed performance specifications. Do not replace the housing screws with other kinds of screw. Make all connections in a non-explosive atmosphere.

EN - English - Instructions manual 6.2 Installation The installer must not use devices that generate dangerous radiation. hh One of the most important features of the EXPT series P&T is the complete absence of rotation cables, whether for controlling the P&T or for controlling the camera. This means that installation and maintenance of the P&T are simple. The multipolar cable supplied is already connected and leaves the base via the Ex d 3/4" NPT IP66 armoured barrier cable gland.

6.2.4 Adjusting the limit switches (Autopan version) 6.2.5 How use the P&T As regards potentiometer RV1, when it is turned anticlockwise as far as it will go, the minimum angle will be obtained (30°), while turning it clockwise as far as it will go will obtain the maximum angle (270°). Intermediate values can be obtained by turning the knob partially in either direction until the desired angle is reached.

• Changing the Mylar tape (version with glass protection device) - This should be done in the presence of the minimum safety conditions as indicated in the instructions for safe operation. To carry out the operation, unscrew the four screws fastening the glass protection cover in order to replace the set of reels holding the dirty tape by those with the clean tape, by simply sliding them out.

Tale soluzione facilita l’installazione e la manutenzione del brandeggio.

6.2.4 Regolazione fine corsa (versione con Autopan) Per quanto riguarda il potenziometro RV1, ruotandolo completamente in senso antiorario si ottiene l'angolo minimo (30°), mentre ruotandolo completamente in senso orario si ottiene l'angolo massimo (270°). Valori intermedi potranno essere ottenuti ruotandolo parzialmente in entrambi i sensi fino ad ottenere gli angoli desiderati.

Le corps central contient deux potientomètres de preset et les parties électroniques indispensables au fonctionnement automatique ainsi que les raccords pour le branchement du câble d’entrée via presseétoupe barrière blindé Ex d 3/4" NPT IP66, conforme au marquage du caisson. Le corps du caisson comprend lui aussi un tube cylindrique en aluminium fermé par une bride logeant une vitre robuste; à l’opposé de la vitre, une seconde bride ferme le cylindre et soutient la plaque de fixation de la caméra.

6.2 Installation Il est recommandé à l’utilisateur de n’utiliser aucun dispositif générant des radiations dangereuses. Cette solution simplifie l’installation et l’entretien de la tourelle.

6.2.4 Réglage fin de course (version avec Autopan) En ce qui concerne le potentiomètre RV1, le tourner complètement dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre pour obtenir l’angle minimal (30°), et dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre pour obtenir l’angle maximal (270°). Pour obtenir des valeurs intermédiaires, tourner partiellement dans les deux sens jusqu’à obtenir les angles requis.

Der Mittelkörper enthält die beiden Potenziometer für die Positionsvorwahl und die elektronischen, für den automatischen Betrieb erforderlichen Komponenten, sowie die Verbindungen für den Anschluss des Eingangskabels über einen armierten BarriereKabelschelle nach Ex d 3/4" NPT IP66 im Einklang mit der Gehäusekennzeichnung.
