Configuring screen and display settings
In the System Settings page, the following parameters can be defined:
Backlight
1 Touch Backlight
2 Define the backlight level of the screen, using the left and right direction keys, or
press Edit Number softkey and use the displayed keypad.
– Min backlight level
: -5
– Max backlight level
: +5
Screen Saver
The screen saver feature allows saving battery power without turning off the unit.
To configure the screen saver:
1 Touch Delay and select the time of inactivity before the screen saver starts: 60s,
3 mi
n, 5 min.
The parameter No dea
ctivates the screen saver function.
When the screen saver is unabled and the unit is inactive for the specified amount of
time, the screen becomes black and a SmartOTDR picture is displayed.
NOTE
The higher the backlight level, the higher the power consumption. Reducing
the display brightness (backlight level) will save battery power.
