These fields are used to select the RAID/IDE mode of the serial ATA drives.
<Choice: RAID, IDE>
IDE Primary Master/Slave PIO and IDE Secondary
Master/Slave PIO
The four IDE PIO (programmed Input/Output) fields let you set a PIO mode
(0-4) for each IDE device that the internal PCI IDE interface supports. Modes
0 through 4 provide successively increased performance. In Auto mode, the
system automatically determines the best mode for each device.
IDE Primary Master/Slave UDMA and IDE Secondary
Master/Slave UDMA
These fields allow you to set the Ultra DMA in use. When Auto is selected, the
BIOS will select the best available option after checking your hard drive or
CD-ROM.
IDE HDD Block Mode
Block mode is also called block transfer, multiple commands, or multiple
sectors read/write.
