ENABLING SMART 5.1

Smart5.1 allows the system to output 6-channel audio directly from the

audio jacks on the mainboard, using the traditional line-in, line-out and

microphone jacks as output jacks. Windows® XP/2000 supports 6-channel.

Windows® 98 only supports 4-channel. The examples in this section are

based on Windows® XP.

NOTE: Your media entertainment software needs to support 6-

channels in order for you to experience Smart5.1. Consult the user

manual that came with your software for more information.
