strongly recommended to leave the default settings as is unless you
are an experienced user.
PNP OS Installed
Setting Description
Yes BIOS will only initialize the PnP cards used for booting
(VGA, IDE, SCSI). The rest of the cards will be initialized
by the PnP operating system
No BIOS will initialize all the PnP cards
Reset Configuration Data
This field should usually be left “Disabled”.
Setting Description
Enabled Resets the ESCD (Extended System Configuration Data)
after exiting BIOS Setup if a newly installed PCI card or
the system configuration prevents the operating system
from loading
Disabled Default setting
